Disinfectants for surface, hall floor, walls and holdings for livestock and poultry

Disinfectants for surface, hall floor, walls and holdings for livestock and poultry containing nanoparticles with a concentration of 4000ppm

Introduction Application Properties Advantage Of Using Nanotechnology

Due to the direct effect of livestock environment hygiene on the livestock health and dairy products, it is necessary to disinfect various parts of the livestock environment, including the places where the calves, dairy cows, milking, and animal feed are kept. When moving livestock, they may be injured by collisions with objects in the environment. Also, a dirty environment or water or food used for livestock can cause infectious and parasitic diseases. Disinfection means the fight against infectious diseases and the carriers of bacteria and viruses. Various methods are used for this purpose such as spraying, fixed shower, spraying powder, and bathing. Today, the use of environmentally friendly disinfectant solutions in the livestock environment has been considered.

The present solution is a non-chemical environmentally friendly disinfectant containing nanoparticles that has been introduced to the livestock and poultry industry. This product, in addition to having many advantages compared to chemical and alcohol-based disinfectants, does not have many of their disadvantages.

  • Disinfection of the entrance pond to breeding halls
  • Disinfection of poultry farms including breeding halls, ceilings, walls, beds, windows, and around the halls in the form of spray
  • Disinfection of drinking equipment and supplies
  • Disinfection of feed depots (walls, ceilings, floors, equipment, and mixer)
  • Non-toxic and non-allergenic
  • Permeable to the smallest gaps
  • Odor remover from livestock and poultry
  • Long life due to lack of decomposition and evaporation of nanoparticles
  • Safe and environmentally friendly
  • Eliminates all kinds of germs, fungi and viruses

Some nanoparticles have a wide range of applications due to their antibacterial properties. Scientists have found different mechanisms to explain the effect of these nanoparticles on microbes. It is because of this multiplicity of mechanisms that microbes cannot adapt to or resist these nanoparticles. The nanoparticles in present disinfectant destroy and eliminate the cell membranes of microorganisms through producing active oxygen, transforming microorganisms (combining with sulfur in cellular RNA), and increasing the positive charge of particle at the nanoscale.

Antibacterial activity is an indicator of the ability of the product to kill bacteria in contact with it, which is obtained by the logarithmic comparison of the number of bacteria on the control sample and the product sample after 24 hours of contact with the bacteria. According to the standard, the effect is significant when the antibacterial activity of the product is between 2 and 3; if the antibacterial activity is more than 3, it has a strong effect.

The present product has the necessary conditions in terms of combating various types of bacteria present in the livestock environment.
